Huron put together a dominating performance against cross town rival Flat Rock Friday night in just 40 minutes. For the 2nd time in consecutive days, junior Ian Petrick tallied 5 goals. Sophomore Ian Ankenbauer registered his 1st ever varsity shut out as he watched junior new comer Ryan Biller blast his way into the history books with his 1st ever varsity goal. Another 1st saw juniors Christian Summitt and Michael Masciovecchio combine for their 1st goal and assist. At times it can be difficult to stay motivated and work to improve when the game is won in the 1st five minutes but the mighty Chiefs tried to stay as true to style as possible, considering. Senior Captain Noah Manthei orchestrated the perfect defense as he directed his back line and added an assist to an assist. Defensive junior, Johann Vasquez, added another 2 goals and 2 assists while play making with senior captains Roman Pritt and Aidan Dolencic who both finished with a goal and 2 assists. Huron’s two tall guys in the back, Juniors Jordan Stasak and Mason Jasinski, are a lot for other teams to handle as they use their speed and talents to not only stop attackers but to attack. Junior Shayne Diegel added an assist and was instrumental in breaking down the left side. Newcomers Ryan Marvaso and Holden Kropff both worked hard in the midfield to secure the win for the Chiefs.
