Sat. Sept. 28 – Marauder Invitational @ Lake Erie Metropark As Huron’s boys' varsity and JV cross country teams alternated weekends, the Marauder Invitational offered some runners an opportunity to gain extra varsity experience, while freshmen faced off against their peers. Personal records were falling as fast as the rain, with nearly every Huron runner setting new personal or season bests in the soggy conditions. In the varsity race, Max Banas led the team, placing 38 th (20:35.4 PR) out of 79 runners, Cole Druyor was 44 th (20:59.1), Wyatt Seesnie 50 th (21:17.4 PR), followed closely by Oliver Scherz 51 st (21:18.8 PR), Garrett Patrick 56 th (21:47.1 PR), Ethan Brophy 59 th (22:02.9 PR), and Austin Shastal 60 th (22:04.9 SR).
