TRENTON HIGH SCHOOL: 1
After 11 days off, Huron quickly went to work dismantling the Trenton Trojans. Ian Petrick scored early to set the tone. Petrick would add 2 more while Matthew Hussey scored 2 and hit the crossbar and a post. Hussey added an assist on the night as well as Mason Jasinski. Jasinski had a beautiful header off of a corner that scored but was called back. Johann Vasquez added 2 assists and a beautiful free kick that left the crowd stunned. Defensively, Noah Manthei, Jordan Stasak and Shayne Diegel had everything on lock down and only allowed 2 shots in the 80 minutes. Mason Thomas was everywhere in the middle and worked up and down the pitch. Forward, Marton Krajcz, used his speed and strength to lure defenders in and then find open players. This was a nice win for Huron who moves onto the District finals.
