MILAN HIGH SCHOOL: 1
Milan was welcomed to New Boston for game two of their series. It was Senior night for the Chiefs and four Seniors were recognized. Noah Manthei, Roman Pritt, Jayden Choryan and Aidan Dolencic. This huge battle was knotted 0-0 at halftime and saw the Chiefs with the slight advantage as Milan’s keeper steered away a point-blank shot. 2nd half action was back and forth with both teams getting some looks. Milan was able to get the go-ahead goal, but the Chiefs would not go away. With under a minute left Johann Vasquez took a direct free kick from distance and was able to beat the keeper to tie the game up. It will come down to the wire with points to see who the Huron League Champ will be, come Wednesday night.
