Huron 10-3-2 traveled to Melvindale 10-2-3.  This was Huron's biggest test so far and they were up to the challenge.  Ranked slightly higher than Melvindale, Huron knew they would have to bring a top notch game to pull out the victory.  Despite defending, possessing and attacking, the Chiefs found themselves down 1-0 after a well played slot ball found its way into the net, halfway through the 1st half.  Roman Pritt, Mason Thomas, Ian Petrick, Marton Krajcz, Matthew Hussey and Johann Vasquez all controlled the offense and nearly tied the game and beyond multiple times.  Shane Diegel, Noah Manthei, Mason Jasinski and Jordan Stasak played top level defense and were consistent all night.  Ian Ankenbauer made a couple of key saves that took cat like reflexes and a cool head to make.  The downside was Huron had to play a man down for over 30 minutes but fortunately for them they didn't let that slow them down.  Michael Masciovecchio, Holden Kropff, Ryan Marvaso and Jaden Choryan all contributed to help in the battle.

Huron is the #1 seed going into Districts and has a bye through to the semi final giving them a much earned 11 day recovery time.  Come out and watch as Huron hosts Districts at Arrowhead Stadium.
