ALLEN PARK HIGH SCHOOL: 2.00
Game 2 was against Allen Park and with only 5 minutes to regroup and play again, the Chiefs bounced back quickly and scored 2 early goals. Sophomore Aidan Dolencic tallied his first varsity point when he broke down the defense and assisted senior Tyler Toth. Both Dolencic and Toth continued a fast strong style that was causing trouble for the Jags in the middle of the field. Junior Andy Traster assisted junior Sebastian Horvath for the 2nd goal and the Chiefs felt like things were beginning to click. Allen Park, coached by ex-Huron player and Coach Sal’s son Marco,stayed in the match and in the end scored the tying goal to end the game 2-2. Junior Luke Hamilton and junior Jack Maxwell helped the team’s success with shutting down the Jag’s attack and aiding in ball control and distribution.
