First game of the Huron League Tournament had the Chiefs soaring past the Jets.  Senior Ashton Messina scored what some are calling a two State-record breaker, both fastest and longest.   At  39:57 just 3 seconds in Messina was celebrating a 60 yard strike that was being picked out of the opponents net.  Scoring continued in order, Alex Davenport  to Andy Traster, Davenport to Tyler Toth, Toth to Owen Barnes, Davenport to Barnes, Shane Gill to Davenport, Evan Town to Barnes, and Nik Crispin to Luke Hamilton. 

The real big story of the night was the SENIORS.  Owen Barnes, Alex Davenport,  Shane Gill, Ashton Messina, Chandler McCraight and Hayden Stanczyk! All six seniors that were honored tonight have been multiple year varsity  players and are the true backbone to this tribe.  “As a coach, I thank each one of you for allowing me to be your high school coach and for putting up with me for your entire high school soccer careers, I know it’s not easy, but I truly appreciate each of you!” Coach Matt
