Tyler Toth broke a goal scoring drought when he laced in his first ever Varsity Hat Trick.  Chandler McCraight assisted Tyler on his first goal 6 minutes into the game followed by the first of Alex Davenport’s Hat Trick. Davenport struck 2 from the spot and finished the game with a header off of a corner kick.  Toth’s Second goal was an individual effort that was unassisted a minute after Davenport scored.  Owen Barnes joined the scoring with 2 on the night, one from the spot and the other a direct free kick that found its way into the goal.  Huron welcomed back Junior Drew Slane who played his first minutes of the season and was able to adjust to the time he had missed. Shane Gill and Ashton Messina anchored the back line and was able to coordinate attacks from the defensive 3rd. The Chiefs went into halftime up 6-1 after a Jefferson corner kick bent right into the goal.  Once the second half had started back up, Toth scored his 3rd of the evening followed by Senior Hayden Stanczyk’s goal from Barnes.  Gill assisted Davenport on the last goal ending the game 9-1 early in the second half.  Huron made a big goal keeping substitution 20 minutes into the game for the ex-football player, Junior, Ethan Woolery.  Woolery who made a huge showing in his debut was able to notch his first save when he came off his line on a corner kick and easily knocked the ball away from all opposing threats.  

Monday September 13th the Chiefs are back in action at 7:00 at home vs Airport.
