Huron started a fast paced game and saw Shane Gill play a ball into Alex Davenport who craftily beat his defender and played the ball to an on-running Andrew Traster for the first goal of the game.  Riverview responded a minute later and tied the game up.  Soon after the Pirates added another and went into halftime up 2-1. In the second half, the Chiefs scored when Chandler McCraight bullied his way through defenders and goalkeeper and netted his first of the season.  The fans were treated to a great back and forth match that had many opportunities at both ends eventually seeing Riverview squeak one more in before the end of the 80 minutes.  Hayden Stanczyk, Ashton Messina, Shane Gill, Jack Maxwell, Chandler McCraight, Alex Davenport, Owen Barnes and Brady Fleszar played at a level that was more than respectable and set the standard for what Huron High School Soccer needs to look like moving forward.
