WOODHAVEN HIGH SCHOOL: 2
Huron welcomed the Warriors Friday night to a challenge at the beautiful Arrowhead Stadium and fell 2-0. With a strong midfield of seniors, Alex Davenport, Chandler McCraight, and Owen Barnes the Chiefs were attacking and getting some great looks at goal. Unfortunately the Chiefs gave up a goal in the 13th minute that saw them down 1-0 until late in the half when the Warriors added another sending the game into halftime 2-0. With multiple attempts in the first 4 minutes of the second half by Andrew Traster and Chandler McCraight, the Chiefs were nearly right back in the game. Junior Tyler Toth added some spark and nearly netted a few as well in this hard fought match. No goals were scored in the second half by either team leaving the Chiefs on the losing end of this battle.
