Huron traveled down to Monroe today to face the Bears who were well prepared for the Chiefs. The Bears scored first and continued a strong physical game that kept the Chiefs bewildered. Junior Jacob O’Neal was the difference today when O’Neal came in off of the bench to score a solo goal that tied the game 1-1. O’Neal had the game winner in the second half from Sal Marchionda minutes before sophomore Ricky Emelian laced a 20 yard strike that scored beautifully from a Robby Spradlin pass. Sal Marchionda added to his goal scoring total late in the game from Spradlin bringing the game’s final to 4-1. Nick Pasut was awarded his 9th win of the season and the Chiefs move to 9-1-1 on the front half of the season. Some say the ACL Prevention was the best ever as Vinny Gonzalez placed the cones precisely at 90 degrees from one another.
