First year player, no, I mean first year player ever, Robert Oaks, scored his first career goal from Jacob O’Neal. An after a seven minute delay of Oaks signing autographs and answering questions from the media the Chiefs got back to action.   Assist point leader, Adam Brenner, assisted Brendan Robbins for the second of the game.  Minutes later sophomore Ricky Emelian bent the back support bracket of the goal as he struck a rocket of a penalty kick.  Ryan Toth assisted Sal Marchionda for goal #4 just before Chad Sturgill tore a small hole in the net off of a well placed direct free kick.   Nick Pasut was awarded the shutout and his 8th win of the season.  Other exciting moments were when a 24 pass count and 3 splits were on with apparently a good group in the middle making them stay for 5.  Travis Russell, Matisse Dornier-Duff, Mackenon Dolencic,  and  Remy Emelian were all credited with tough play and relentless work as well as Senior captain and all around good guy Vinny Gonzalez. The Chiefs are back in action tomorrow playing corn hole and spike ball at Sal’s after practice.
