Huron traveled to the lush green grass of the amazing Chargers soccer field to have a well challenged contest. The Chargers scored first putting them out in front. The Chiefs were struggling a bit with their style of play but was able to score their own goal by Captain Ryan Toth assisted by Sal Marchionda. Second half action had the Chiefs chipping away at the Chargers end but unfortunately unable to convert their chances into points. Brendan Robbins gave the Chiefs the go ahead winning goal when he tucked the ball away neatly into the heavily guarded Charger goal from a Sal Marchionda Flick. Later in the game, after attempts from Vinny Gonzalez, Robby Spradlin, and Mackenon Dolencic, Travis Russell headed an Adam Brenner throw in across the goal to Junior Matisse Dornier who netted his first career varsity goal. The Chiefs are now 7-1-1 and gear up for Flat Rock and Monroe in the upcoming week.
