The Chiefs took the winding narrow path of Willow out to the home of the Big Reds to play in the heat.  Minutes into the contest the Chiefs scored from Sal  Marchionda to Brendan Robbins.  Vinnie Gonzalez scored next on a pass from Ryan Toth.  Five more Chiefs would score before the day was through, placing the Chiefs at a 7-1 advantage over the home team.  Ryan Toth scored a solo goal just before Adam Brenner had an assist to Travis Russell, who is picking up where his older brother Logan left off.  Remy Emilian added an assist to Sal Marchionda followed by Russell assisting Jacob O’Neal.  Russell finished off his 4 point day by assisting Sam Hughes with his mighty finish.  Nick Pasut made some great shaves but had to face a questionable penalty shot that gave the Big Reds their 1.     In a game that everyone played in and played well in, the Chiefs were able to concentrate on their possession and watch Chad Sturgill  electrify the crowds with his almost ballet like movements.  Huron is back at home against the leaders of the downriver league, Woodhaven/Brownstown, on Friday.
