Sat. Oct. 22 – Airport Invitational@ Airport High School
Huron Boys & Girls Cross Country took home trophies from their last regular season competition at the Airport Invitation on Saturday and earned a total of 17 medals.
The Huron Girls Varsity team claimed the Airport Invite Runner-up trophy with three runners earning a medal among the top 25: Molly Johnston 3rd (20:31.0), Avery Turk 5th (21:22.2), and Maggie Warden 11th (22:31.3). Falyn Doss was next for the Chiefs placing 34th (25:03.1), followed by Kirsten Perecki 43rd (26:39.7), Breeann Roupe 44th (26:45.7), and Cara Bean 51st (28:15.3). In the JV race, Danica Lividini in 5th (28:27.7) and Amelia Szawara 10th (31:46.7) both earned medals for placing in the top 10.
