Huron Cross Country competed in a multi-division event at the Wayne County Championship meet on Saturday, with over 40 schools participating.
The Huron Girls Cross Country team earned the third-place trophy once the divisions were separated for team awards. Avery Turk led the team, finishing 39th (21:40.1), followed by Kayla Christesen in 42nd (21:52.6). Lillian West achieved her first sub-24 finish of the season, placing 88th with a personal record of 23:51.6. Maiya Thomas finished in 112th (25:13.9), Stella Mac 116th (25:21.3 PR), Isa Vargo 122nd (25:48.1), and Ryan Cheney 144th (28:53.6 PR).
