Thurs. Oct. 20 – Huron League Championship @ Willow Metropark

Huron Cross Country took some time to honor our seniors and their parents at the Huron League Championship Meet. Senior yard signs were displayed coming into the third and final mile for some. Congratulations Class of 2022-23: Cara Bean, Griffin Mentzer, Ryan Morris, Breeann Roupe, Samuel Stanley, and Jacob Welch!

The Huron Girls Varsity Team, just four points behind second-place SMCC, finished 3^rd overall in the Huron League. Avery Turk, with Huron’s first sub 20 minute in 11 years, placing 3^rd (19:47.2 PR) and Molly Johnston 7^th (20:11.6) earned 1^st Team All-League medals. Maggie Warden in 15^th (21:26.3 PR) was just one spot away from second team honors. Breeann Roupe finishing 22^nd (22:59.5), Falyn Doss 27^th (23:34.7), Kirsten Perecki 31^st (24:25.1 PR), and Cara Bean 36^th (25:41.8) all improved in league placing. In the JV race, Danica Lividini placed 8^th overall (25:41.6).
