With days of rain, an evening's worth of races, and morning showers, Jefferson proved to be a slow and sloppy course.
The Huron Girls Varsity team started their race in the rain, but the clouds parted halfway through in their dash to the finish where they quickly departed to prepare for Homecoming. Elizabeth Anderson 21st (22:41.5) and Breeann Roupe 22nd (22:46.7) finishing within seconds of each other, medal among the top 30. Maggie Warden placed 40th (24:24.7) out of 70 runners, Cara Bean 53rd (26:35.2), Natalie Carlile 61st (27:52.3), Emma Randles 69th (30:04.3).
