Despite losing a shoe or two the Huron Girls Varsity Cross Country team finished in 2^nd place out of 8 teams with 89 points, earning a team trophy at the Marauder Invitational. Huron’s top three earned medals by placing in the top 25, led by Elizabeth Anderson in 11^th (22:41.2), Natalie Marek 12^th (22:42.2) and Breeann Roupe 19^th (23:25.0 PR). Tiffany Burns finishing one spot away from a medal placed 26^th (23:55.4) out of 72 runners, Ashley Christesen 32^nd (24:25.5), Kyndy Bennett 47^th (25:26.9), Madison Slane 59^th (27:13.0). Overall the ladies improved three places from last year’s competition. In the Freshmen JV race, Emma Randles finished 2^nd(27:55.8) out of 12 runners.
