District Champions

Marton Krajcz scored two big goals to lead the Chiefs to their first District title in over a decade.  Johann Vasquez found Marton for both goals, one early on in the 1^st half and the other towards the end of the half.  Ryan Biller hit his “banger” with moments left in the first from Jordan Stasak.  Stasak, Noah Manthei and Mason Jasinski handled the Carlson Marauders with ease and were able to control the attack.  Mason Thomas and Shayne Diegel were consistent all evening up the middle and included Roman Pritt and Matthew Hussey in their attacks.  Ian Petrick was getting marked all game but was able to target, hold the ball, and create opportunities for his teammates.  Ian Ankenbauer, playing in his 2^nd District final, got the win and helped keep his defense calm.  Maverik Bazzy worked the left side of the field and kept the defensive team guessing as he outworked them.  Christian Summitt and Holden Kropff came into the middle and controlled the game to ensure the win for the Chiefs.  Ryan Marvaso stepped into the back-line and was able to get right into the attack after shutting players down.  Jayden Choryan and Michael Masciovecchio both aided in the attack and got into the offensive 3^rd multiple times.   This was an exciting Title for this group of guys who have been state ranked all year.  They fought for this title and earned every piece of the trophy, where their names will be engraved for life.  Tuesday the 22^nd will start their quest for the next trophy as only 16 teams remain left in the state.
