Huron and Riverview battled hard going three sets Monday night.  The chiefs came back from behind winning the first set 25-22.  Unfortunately Huron couldn't find their momentum and lost the following sets 23-25 & 24-26.  We had some great plays, but we gave the game away with too many errors and missed serves.  It wasn't a game we are proud of, had we even won. The girls are eager to have some time to practice more this week and work through the things we need to improve on.  The latter part of our season will bring us some good competition and I think we will be ready for it.  

Brooke Semone had a very strong night leading the chiefs with 9 kills.  Ava Russo is settling in well working at a new position this year and had her best game yet with 4 kills.  Ava Radecki and Emily Moreno added 4 aces for the chiefs.  Brianna Holbrook is always strong defensively and led the way with 18 digs.
