Huron hosted the annual Pink Out event in honor of Debbie Yancey Monday night in a game against John Glenn. We had a great turnout having many fans out to watch the chiefs play and show some support to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. The chiefs had a successful night as well, beating John Glenn 2-1 with scores: 25-20, 25-9 & 15-25.  Despite a slow start, the chiefs gained momentum easily winning the first two sets.  Brianna Holbrook was dealing with a minor injury, so others had to step out of their comfort zone and play out of position to do what was best for the team.  I'm super proud of them for that.  They did a great job of picking each other up and still getting the win.  

Cami Konarski led the offense with 6 kills and 6 aces.  Madelyn Mrowca was strong at the net as well adding 6 kills.  Addison McFadden stepped in as libero and led defensively with 12 digs and 4 aces.  Emily Moreno added 3 aces and 22 assists.
