Last nights game resulted in a loss to a very strong Milan team.  Despite losing, we played much better than we had the previous week.  Players are making adjustments and we are getting more comfortable playing together.  Milan was tough and we held our own just fine.  A few key mistakes executing our offense and missed serves were a few main set backs, but even with that; our girls battled.  We were strong at the net with our hitters getting many blocks and touches against some powerful hitters from Milan.  It is exciting to see the improvements and the direction we are headed with the later part of the season approaching.  

Brooke Semone was powerful at the net and led the team with 3 kills and 1 block.  Maddie Beaubien and Cami Konarski also added some blocks.  Brianna Holbrook and Ava Radecki both had 10 digs and played well defensively. 

Tonight the chiefs face Ann Arbor Huron in a home game at 5:30.
