The JV Lady Chiefs opened their season with high energy, teamwork, and quite a bit of grit. Unfortunately, it didn't lend itself to a win, but the Chiefs showed there is a lot to be excited about as the season progresses and they get more comfortable on the court and with each other. Set 1 was a loss of 20-25; set 2 we fell 23-25.

Caroline Polites led the team with a great serving day going 12 of 14 with 4 aces. Leah Stacy led the offensive attack with 4 kills on the night with strong setting by Emily Martin with 6 assists. Abby Russell provided stability and strong passing in the back row as the libero.
