The Huron Boys Cross Country Team came out on top at the first Huron League jamboree. The Chiefs came in first in what came down to a showdown with Jefferson, outscoring them by 5 points. Ryan Morris placing in the top 5, finished 4th overall (17:06.4). Huron’s next three runners, coming in as a pack finished 8th, 9th, and 10th: Griffin Mentzer 8th (17:37.2), Lucas Kuhn 9th (17:42.2 PR), Abdul Ghennewa 10th (17.42.7). Lucas Dulecki, just one place away from the top 14, finished in 15th (18:41.0 PR) with Samuel Stanley 23rd (19:07.7), and Kyle Biller 25th (19:09.0 PR) rounding out Huron’s top 7. Caiden Siggett finished 38th (20:17.7) out of 88 runners, Evan Banas 41st (20:38.2), Louie Macon 42nd (20:38.8), Jacob Welch 51st (21:14.4), Cole Druyor 53rd (21:38.8 PR), Noah Myshock 57th (22:07.8), Broderick Yensch 61st (22:58.6 PR), Garrett Cheney 62nd (23:01.5), Deegan Richardson 65th (23:19.0), Hunter Szawara 71st (24:21.3), Ben Holbrook 75th (24:50.3), Drew Blosser 76th (24:51.3), Rocco Sells 77th (25:22. 6), Jack Fisher 79th (25:34.9), Hunter McMahan 82nd (26:09.7), Joel Lazenby 86th (27:55.2), Nathan Zakar 87th (28:33.2).
