Sat. Oct. 26 – MHSAA Region 18-2

On the men's side, the Chiefs won their first-ever MHSAA Regional title, advancing the team to the State Finals next Saturday, November 2nd, at MIS. The last time they qualified a team was 45 years ago, in 1979. For the ladies, the Chiefs will be represented by two All-Regional runners on the MIS course. Congratulations to Kyle Biller, Cameron Crane, Luke Dulecki, Lucas Kuhn, Tanner Kuhn, Louie Macon, and Broderick Yensch on your team qualification, and to Avery Turk and Falyn Doss on your individual qualifications!

In the Boys Varsity D2 race, Lucas Kuhn led with a 2^nd-place finish (16:03.8), earning the regional runner-up title. He was followed by Luke Dulecki in 3^rd (16:17.1) and Cameron Crane in 13^th (17:14.6 PR), with all three earning All-Region honors for their top 15 finishes. Completing the team’s scoring were Kyle Biller in 18^th (17:24.8), Tanner Kuhn in 28^th (17:50.2), Louie Macon in 43^rd (18:27.9), and Broderick Yensch in 49^th (18:40.7 PR). Each runner earned medals for the Chiefs’ first-place finish.

In the JV boys’ PROM race, Huron wrapped up the season with eleven personal records and one season best for the day. Brenton Musallam led the Chiefs finishing 57^th (19:56.4) out of 171 runners. He was closely followed by Evan Banas in 59^th (19:58.2 SR), Max Banas 64^th (20:03.3), Oliver Scherz 65^th (20:04.1 PR), Aiden Hebert-Foe 67^th (20:05.9), Cole Druyor 68^th (20:06.3), Wyatt Sesnie 75^th (20:17.9 PR), Garrett Patrick 84^th (20:28.3), Ethan Brophy 88^th (20:39.2 PR), Austin Krause 89^th (20:39.2), Lucas Worrell 97^th (20:52.3), Austin Shastal 110^th (21:07.3 PR), Liam Holdwick 113^th (21:17.4), Mason Kidd 117^th (21:21.5 PR), Johnny LaPointe 121^st (21:34.1 PR), Deegan Richardson 128^th (21:50.8), Joel Lazenby 143^rd (23:17.1 PR), Graham Gamber 149^th (23:52.2 PR), Henry Broughton 155^th (24:30.4), Ethan Sainato 156^th (24:31.8 PR), Jacob Bentley 161^st (25:52.0 PR).
