Huron Cross Country posted faster times at the AA Gabriel Richard Invite, showcasing the team’s new pink-out uniforms. The Chiefs had 23 runners achieve new personal bests and two set season-best times, collectively dropping 12 minutes and 18 seconds.
The Huron Boys Varsity Cross Country team delivered an impressive performance, earning a trophy for their third-place finish. Lucas Kuhn, who shaved another two seconds off his school record, placed 3rd with a 15:48.64. Luke Dulecki followed with a 7th place finish at 16:02.8, moving him to second on the all-time top 20 5K board. Kyle Biller, breaking the 17-minute barrier, finished 15th in 16:56.5, debuting on the 5K board at 9th. Cameron Crane placed 27th with a 17:18.1 and made his first showing on the board at 13th. All four earned medals for finishing in the top 30 at the invite. Tanner Kuhn, with his first sub-18 performance, placed 49th with a 17:47.2. Lucas Worrell finished 97th (19:16.2), and Broderick Yensch set a personal record, placing 100th in 19:20.5. The JV Boys team placed ninth out of 12 schools with eleven personal records. Aiden Hebert-Foe led the way, finishing 41st (19:39.8 PR) followed closely by Louie Macon in 42nd (19:40.0). Brenton Musallam placed 45th (19:45.8 PR) and Max Banas 59th (19:58.3 PR) both broke the 20-minute barrier for the first time. Cole Druyor followed in 63rd (20:19.5). Oliver Scherz 71st (20:33.8 PR), Wyatt Sesnie 74th (20:40.6 PR), Garrett Patrick 76th (20:45.4 PR), Liam Holdwick 78th (20:46.5 PR), and Ethan Brophy 81st (20:54.7 PR) all achieved their first sub-21 finishes. Austin Krause placed 88th (21:19.3), Austin Shastal 99th (21:45.1), Mason Kidd 101st (21:51.4 PR), Deegan Richardson 111th (22:21.7), Johnny Lapointe 116th (22:37.5 PR), Joel Lazenby 136th (23:58.4), Graham Gamber 137th (23:59.5 PR), Henry Broughton 142nd (24:24.0), Jack Fisher 151st (26:05.3).
