Huron Cross Country competed in a multi-division event at the Wayne County Championship meet on Saturday, with over 40 schools participating.
The Huron Boys Cross Country team claimed the Wayne County Division 2 Championship title for the second consecutive year. Lucas Kuhn led the way, finishing 5th (16:03.3) followed by Luke Dulecki in 15th (16:32.7), earning medals for finishing in the top 35. Kyle Biller placed 54th (17:49.2) out of 213 runners, Cameron Crane 63rd (18:05.8), Tanner Kuhn 78th (18:30.1), Lucas Worrell 120th (19:33.9), and Broderick Yensch 123rd (19:41.7).
The JV Boys team secured third place among Division 2 teams, with five personal records set. Aiden Hebert-Foe led the JV squad, finishing 73rd out of 229 runners (20:19.3), followed by Brenton Musallam set a personal record, going sub-21 to finish 83rd (20:36.7 PR), Austin Krause 97th (20:58.8 PR), Garrett Patrick 107th (21:09.4 PR), Liam Holdwick 111th (21:15.2), Cole Druyor 116th (21:33.7), Ethan Brophy 122nd (21:45.0 PR), Oliver Scherz 123rd (21:49.9), Mason Kidd 137th (22:09.7 PR), Johnny Lapoint 165th (23:15.5), Deegan Richardson 172nd (23:34.6), Henry Broughton 191st (24:32.7), Graham Gamber 194th (24:41.1), Jack Fisher 202nd (25:48.7), Joel Lazenby 205th (26:16.5), Jacob Bentley 211th (27:11.4).
