Sat. Oct. 23 – Airport Invitational

Huron Boys Cross Country took advantage of the flat, fast course at Airport Invitation. The team set 14 personal records, one seasonal record, with both Griffin and Breen running a sub 18 minute.

In the varsity race the Chiefs had three runners medal among the top 25 with Griffin Mentzer in 9^th (17:50.3 PR), Breen Patrick 10^th (17:50.7 PR), and Tyler Doss 19^th (18:11.8 PR). Owen Lazenby placed 32^nd (19:10.0 PR) out of 61, Evan Banas 35^th (19:19.8 PR), Kyle Biller 37^th (19:21.9 PR), Lucas Worrell 42^nd (19:52.4).  As a team they placed 4^th overall with 95 points.

The JV Boys Team finished in third place with Jacob Welch placing 10^th (20:19.0 PR) earning a medal among the top 10.  The team occupied the next 5 places with Roman Whitmore in 11^th (20:31.0 PR), followed by Caiden Siggett 12^th (20:33.1), Samuel Stanley 13^th (20:33.3 PR), Miles Fichtner 14^th (20:37.4 PR), and Matthew Hibbs 15^th (20:38.1). Garrett Cheney finished 21^st (21:21.6 PR) out of 46 runners, Noah Myshock 22^nd (21:31.9), Trent Doss (22:15.7 PR), Charlie Hoke 28^th (22:34.9 PR), Hunter Szawara 31^st (23:23.9), Rocco Sells 33^rd (23:35.7), Deegan Richardson 35^th (24:15.5 PR), Kragen Patrick 38^th (26:51.1), Liam Hilliker 42^nd (28:44.4).
