The initial race featured the girls, led by Zoey Cheney (13:53PR), who secured 14th place out of a total of 83 runners, earning a medal for her top-20 finish. Following Zoey were Renton's Isa Vargo (15:57) in 42nd place, Stella Mac (15:57) in 43rd place, Ryan Cheney (16:13PR) in 49th place, Layna Shirey (17:08) in 62nd place, and Isabel Kridner (20:43) in 81st place. Subsequently, the Renton boys took to the course, with Wyatt Sesnie (13:44) leading the pack and securing 38th place among 107 racers. He was closely followed by Max Banas (13:59) in 41st place, Alex Stolkey (14:08) in 48th place, Henry Broughton (14:45) in 57th place, Liam Holdwick (14:59) in 61st place, Oliver Sherz (15:04) in 62nd place, Mason Kidd (15:15PR), Jackson Dodson (15:21) in 66th place, Cael Dodson (16:20) in 72nd place, Brady Allen (16:33PR) in 74th place, John Lapointe (16:39) in 76th place, Ryan Stolkey (17:04PR) in 81st place, Ryan Clelland (17:32) in 87th place, Griffin Bozich (17:46), and Carter Crane (18:25) in 97th place. League Jamboree #2 – October 3, 2023 Sometimes in running, it's not just about achieving personal records (PR). Rather, it's about the way you run the race. This was one of those days on the course. The Renton girls' team did exceptionally well, finishing 3rd out of 6 teams, which is an improvement from their last Jamboree where they placed 5th. The girls all finished very close to each other, which helped increase their team's overall standing. Zoey Cheney (14:43) was the first runner for Renton and placed 8th overall out of 49 runners. Jefferson Invite- Friday, September 22, 2023 Jefferson’s CC course has some great scenery, but with the wind and the sun proves to be tough one to run on. The Renton girls team placed well despite the elements being a factor. As a team the Renton girls took 5th place. Isa Vargo (15:33) received a medal for her top 20 finish placing 16th overall. The timing system went down along with the backup system during the race.  We had to wait a considerable amount of time to get the results, which are still not 100 percent correct yet. At the end of the results mayhem Renton boys team placed 3rd out of 7 full teams. Led by Wyatt Sesnie (13:44) 14th and Aiden Hebert-Foe (13:47) 15th, both medaled for their top 20 finish.
