Renton Races at the League Jamboree #3

The weather during the race was absolutely perfect! It was the best weather we've had all season long, and the dry and fast course reflected that with some incredible times being run by the Renton CC teams.

The Renton girls started the race off with a bang, with five girls setting new personal records (PR) on the course. Zoey Cheney led the team, finishing in 8th place out of 46 runners and earning recognition for her impressive top-14 finish. She was followed by Jennalynn Bronstein (15:00) in 17th place, Isa Vargo (15:44) in 24th, Stella Mac (15:57) in 25th, Riley Szawara (16:12) in 28th, Ryan Cheney (16:24PR) in 31st, Layna Shirey (16:52PR) in 33rd, Aubrey Turk (17:23PR) in 38th, and Isabel Kridner (18:22PR) in 42nd place. As a team, the girls placed 5th out of 5 full teams, which is still a great accomplishment.

 

The boys from Renton didn't disappoint either as they had ten team members break their personal records (PR). The boys' team finished 3rd out of 5 full teams and were led by Max Banas (13:22PR) in 12th place and Alex Stolkey (13:30PR) in 14th place, both of whom placed in the top 14 and earned recognition for their great performance. Wyatt Sensie (13:39) followed closely behind in 17th place, with Ethan Brophy (14:16) in 23rd, Oliver Sherz (14:22PR) in 26th, Henry Broughton (14:39) in 31st, Liam Holdwick (14:49PR) in 33rd, Jackson Dodson (15:09) in 36th, Mason Kidd (15:23) in 39th, Cael Dodson (15:41PR) in 40th, John Lapointe (15:45) in 41st, Brady Allen (16:39PR) in 46th, Ryan Clelland (16:59PR) in 50th, Griffin Bozich (17:04) in 51st, Ryan Stolkey (17:04PR) in 53rd, and Carter Crane (17:45PR) completing the team's impressive performance.Top of Form
