Chiefs Lose Game One vs Milan

Huron Chiefs Varsity Can't Hold Up Against Milan
Huron Chiefs Varsity struggled to get their offense going on Wednesday, getting easily dispatched by Milan, 9-2.
Milan got on the board in the first inning. Milan scored one run when B Spradlin singled.
In the top of the second inning, Huron Chiefs Varsity tied things up at one when an error scored one run for Huron Chiefs Varsity.
Milan pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Spradlin singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Maurer singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Milan scored four runs in the fifth inning. Maurer and Markham all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Raubuch pitched Milan to victory. She lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out five and walking one.
Gracie Brinkerhoff took the loss for Huron Chiefs Varsity. She surrendered seven runs on seven hits over four and a third innings, striking out five.
Madison Campbell went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Huron Chiefs Varsity in hits.
Milan racked up ten hits. Chrysler, Maurer, and Spradlin each collected multiple hits for Milan. Milan stole four bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Chrysler led the way with two.
