GROSSE ILE HIGH SCHOOL: 12
The Huron Junior Varsity football team traveled to the island Thursday night and beat the Red Devils of Grosse Ile 48-12. The defense forced several turnovers and ran two interceptions back for touchdowns. Even though the offense scored on the first play from scrimmage, their timing seemed a little off and their production wasn’t what it has been. The win improves their record to 3-1. The chiefs host Monroe Catholic Central St. Mary next Thursday.
