The Huron Chiefs hosted the Devils of Grosse Ile for the first ever football game on the beautiful new field at Arrowhead Stadium.  The defense set the tone and played well all night by  forcing a turnover and holding the Devils to 14 points.  Jayden Craig and Micah Smith lead the team with 7 tackles.  Griffin Chollette was all over the field and Matthew Williams locked down his corner for the evening to add to a great team defensive effort.  The offensive attack was lead by great line play that produced 218 rushing yards.  Tycen Stevens ended the night with 109 rushing yards that included a great 50 yard TD run.  Austin Myers also ran hard all evening and rounded out the scoring with 2 rushing TD's  and a passing TD to Isaac Smith.  When the dust settled, the Chiefs left their legacy on the new field by winning the game 28-14.  The Chiefs have a few things to clean up before they head to the tough confines of Navarre field this Friday if they want to have a chance to come away with a victory.
