Martin Throws Shutout As Chiefs Defeats Belleville
Chad Martin didn't allow a single run as Huron defeated Belleville 10-0 on Friday. Martin allowed just one hit in the second game of the double header.
Gavin Moczydlowsky led the offensive charge by driving in five runs. Moczydlowsky went 2-for-3 at the plate. With a home run in the third, a double in the fourth, and a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
In the first inning, the Chiefs got their offense started. Rory Callahan drove in one when Callahan tripled on a sharp line drive over the head of the left fielder
Chad Martin led the Huron to victory on the mound. Chad surrendered zero runs on just one hit over five innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.
