The chiefs find a way to win on an emotional night dedicated to breast cancer awareness. They battled with the Pirates in a tough five set match by splitting the first two sets, struggling the third, and fighting back the last two sets to achieve victory, 

More importantly, the Huron Chiefs were able to raise awareness for breast cancer research and survivors. A big thank you to Kathy Springer and our volunteers for organizing this event. Through their efforts and the efforts of the Huron Volleyball Program, over $1000 was raised for the American Cancer Society and $1500 to the New Day Foundation. 

"I was very proud of our girls tonight on their ability to fight back and persevere even though we did not play to the level we are capable of. I am very fortunate to have such great staff, players, and parent support to put on a night like tonight. I truly appreciate all of the help to make tonight possible. I am very grateful for your dedication and generosity."
