ST. MARY CATHOLIC CENTRAL: 4
Sure the final score hurt but that’s not the real pain. Sure only having minimal mistakes in an 80 minute match and still coming out on the losing side hurts, but that’s not the real pain. Sure out shooting your opponent by double digits hurts, but that’s still not it. Sure watching Sam Hughes and Brendan Robbins have the game of their life and still not win hurts, but that’s not it. However; when Alex Davenport is already out, hurt, the last thing the Chiefs need is one more injury. Unfortunately the Chiefs suffered 3 more. Owen Barnes, the lone goal scorer, had to be replaced when his low back was wrecked. Sal Marchionda had his ankle stomped on by the defender as if the defender was “River dancing” and Sal’s ankle was the stage. Brendan Robbins was The 3rd player the Chiefs played without. The contact forced Robbins to the ground awkwardly, resulting with Robbins getting up slowly. Immediately Brendan knew he had broken his arm and ran off of the field holding his arm with the other hand. He was swiftly rushed to the hospital and we all await the diagnosis.
