Senior Matisse Dornier-Duff started the scoring off with a beautiful thigh touch-to-volley finish from Brendan Pasut.  Junior Captain Ricky Emelian dazzled in the corner before finding sophomore Owen Barnes at the back post for the second . Barnes lit up the net with a header goal that left the crowds gasping for air.  The Chiefs continued at a shot a minute pace with relentless pressure throughout the first half and then carried that speed right into the second when senior Captain Brendan Robbins was rewarded with a solo goal.  Robbins who was everywhere on the pitch tonight, except for goal, because Cody Brenner would’ve thrown him out of there, drove down the Airport runway straight at the goal and jetted  a rocket past the keeper. Senior Captain Jacob O’Neil, who was away on business the first half, showed up for the second half in prepared form netting a beaut.  Sophomore Alex Davenport toyed with defenders before singling out O’Neil to create the play.  Moments later Davenport was crushed by an advancing keeper which stopped play and sent Davenport straight to the hospital in need of some stitches. When play resumed, Senior defender, Mackennon Dolencic, pushed forward trying to aid in the offense and assisted Senior Jordan Comilla’s “Big Goal”.  Brenner was credited with the shut-out and the amazing bus snacks!

The Chiefs who are undefeated in league play, play Monday night against the other undefeated team.  Game time is 6:00.  Correct 6:00 not 4:30.  Jv and Varsity are swapping start times that night.  ??that is for you, and you know who you are
