Yes you read the headline correct, the Chiefs and Pirates came out of tonight’s game all knotted up at 2. The Chiefs scored at 31:03 when Sal Marchionda nocked a header in from a Brendan Robbins cornerkick. With minutes left in the first half Riverview squeaked one past the Chief’s back line sending the game 1-1 into half. 12 minutes later Alex Davenport connected with Jacob O’Neil who dribbled through a sea of maroon to slot the ball into the back of the netting. Crazy back and forth soccer continued for another 10 minutes before a Riverview cornerkick found its way over the 24 footer. 2-2 the game stood as both teams pounded forward. The Chiefs are back in action to continue their undefeated season at home tomorrow against Melvindale.
