JEFFERSON MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL: 34
The Huron Chiefs broke their three game losing streak with a hard fought 47-34 victory over the Jefferson Bears. Senior guard Bobby Belair came off the bench to score all 11 of his points in the first half before leaving the game in the 3rd quarter with an ankle injury. Junior forward Chase Molnar added 10 points with 6 steals and did a great job defensively holding Jefferson’s leading scorer, Jackson Barath to 4 points. Huron improved to 8-7 overall and 6-5 in the league. The Bears were lead in scoring by Senior guard Noah Merkle with 10. Jefferson fell to 1-14 overall and 0-11 in the league
