The Chiefs took an early lead Wednesday evening against Monroe Jefferson and never looked back. Sophomore forward Addison Bozynski led the Chiefs, putting eleven points on the board. Both sophomores, Rylie Cassette had ten points and Emma James had seven.Freshman forward Ava Banko had three points while Addison Beddow had two. With this win it brings the Chiefs overall record to a respectable 13 wins and 2 losses. The Chiefs now look forward to Mondays match up with the Flat Rock Rams. Go Chiefs!!!

The Chiefs had a solid win over the Red Devils Monday evening with a score of  33 to 28. Freshman guard Addison Ramsby led the Chiefs with eight points. Both Freshman Elle Huffman and Addison Beddow had six points each, while sophomore Rylie Cassette had five. Sophomore center Emma james had four points. The Chiefs pulled off another victory over the Milan Big Reds Thursday evening with a final score of 36 to 29. The girls really had to come together as a team, as they were down by ten at the half. They never gave up, and started to find holes in the Milan defense which provided the momentum to change. The Chiefs were once again led by sophomore center Emma James who had twelve points on the night. Sophomore guard Lila Monte had six points, while fellow sophomores Rylie Cassette and Addison Bozynski had five points a piece. Freshman Brooklyn Burke and Addison Ramsby had three points each. Before the final buzzer rang freshman Addison Beddow got a bucket to fall. The Chiefs are now looking forward to visiting the Grosse Ile Red Devils Monday evening in another Huron league match up. The Chiefs had a nice win over the Airport Jets Monday evening with a final score of 47 to 34. The Chiefs were led by Sophomore guard Lila Monte who had a season high seventeen points on the night. Center Emma James had eight points, Riley Cassette had seven , and Addison Bozynski had six. Both freshman, Addison Beddow, and Addison Ramsby had four points a piece. Freshman, Madison Clelland had a bucket also. The Huron Chiefs earned a win Tuesday evening in a non league match up vs Taylor. The Chiefs took the early lead and never lost it. The leading scorers on the night were sophomore center Emma James, and freshman forward Addison Beddow with eight points a piece. Forwards, Brook Burke and Addison Bozynski had five point's each. Rylie Cassette had four points, while Maddie Clelland and Lila Monte each had a bucket. The Chiefs are off to a very good start this season with eight wins and only one loss. The Chiefs are looking forward to their next game Thursday evening, when they will meet up with the Riverview Pirates. Go Chiefs!!

The Chiefs faced off with the Flat Rock Rams Monday evening in the first game back after the holiday break. After a slow first half the Chiefs were able to pull away in the second half being led by sophomore guard Rylie Cassette who had ten point's on the night. Both Emma James, and Addison Ramsby had four points a piece. Lila Monte, and Addison Beddow had a bucket each, while Addison Bozynski and Maddie Clelland were each able to drop a free throw. Despite the slow start and low score it was a good win for the Chiefs. Go Chiefs!!

The Chiefs ended their holiday tournament with a big win over the Wyandotte Bears Thursday afternoon. The Chiefs defense was working well, while holding the Bears to only three points in the second half. All ten Chiefs that dressed for the match up were able to get on the scoreboard. The Chiefs were led by Sophomore center Emma James who had fourteen. Freshman forward Brooklyn Burke had five points, sophomore guard Lila Monte had four. Freshman Addison Beddow and Elle Huffman had three points each. Ava Banko, Rylie Cassette, Maddie Wilson, Maddie Clelland, and Addison Ramsby all had two points each. The Chiefs have a bit of a break before getting back to Huron league play Monday the 9th at home vs the Flat Rock Rams. The Chiefs earned another victory in their first game of the holiday tournament Tuesday afternoon defeating Gibralter Carlson 35 to 31. Sophomore center Emma James lead the Chiefs with nine points. Sophomore's Rylie Cassette and Addison Bozynski had six points each, also scoring six point a piece were Freshman Addison Beddow and Addison Ramsby. Freshman forward Ava Banko got on the board with two points. The Chiefs second game of the holiday tournament will be against the Wyandotte Bears Thursday afternoon. Go Chiefs!!

The Chiefs came out victorious in their first Huron league match up Thursday when they hosted the Grosse Ile Red Devils. Freshman guard Addison Ramsby led the Chiefs offense with twelve points. Sophomore guard Rylie Cassette, and freshman forward Addison Beddow had eight points each. Sophomore's, Emma James had seven points, forward Addison Bozynski had five points, and guard Lila Monte had four points. Freshman forward Brooklyn Burke had two. With a commanding win over the Red Devils the Chiefs are now three and one, a great start to the season!! The Chiefs last match up before the holiday break will be Monday evening vs Jefferson. The Chiefs hosted G.R. Tuesday evening in a non league match up. When the final buzzer rang the Chiefs finished fifteen ahead of G.R. Sophomore center Emma James led the the Chiefs with ten points. Rylie Cassette, Addison Bozynski, and Addison Beddow had four points each. Freshman guard Addison Ramsby had three, while also freshman Ava Banko, and Madison Clelland had a bucket each. The Chiefs are continuing to get better and they are learning to play as a team! Great job ladies! Freshman, Elle Huffman, and Brooklynn Burke each had a bucket fall before the final buzzer. The Chiefs played very well defensively also, creating turn overs and protecting the paint.
