The Chiefs competed Saturday 2/10 at Warren Woods Tower and nailed it. They brought confidence and energy to the mat and received their season high scores in round 1 and round 3. The Lady Chief Cheer team honored our Seniors and our outstanding athletes at the Huron League Championships at Jefferson on Wednesday 2/7. The team took the mat with 9 girls and nailed their last minute changes! Congratulation to our Senior athletes Stella Hendley, Brooke Spears, and Mackenzie Whitehill for the achievements in the sport of Competitive Cheer. Their team commitment and passion for the sport will be so missed. We cannot wait to see what they do next!  A huge CONGRATULATIONS goes out to our Huron League Award winners. Brooke Spears earned Huron League honorable mention. Stella Hendley earned Second Team All League. The girls from Huron competed at Wyandotte on Saturday 1/27 in a tough D2 division. They worked hard and after last minute changes had big adjustments to make.  Come support the Lady Chiefs as the compete in the Huron League Championships on 2/7 at Jefferson HS. Round 1: 202.9 Round 2: 168.02 Round 3: 268.9 Total Score: 639.82

The Chiefs competed at Airport on 1/24 and scored season high round 1 (208.9) and round 2 (190.84) scores. They rounded out the competition with a solid round 3 score for a total of 660.24.

Battling injury, illness, and terrible weather, the Huron girls absolutely burned up the mat on Friday at Lincoln Park. They took 2nd place in a battle to the end. Last minute changes and adversity only fueled the Chiefs' fire and they performed 3 rounds that had fans on their feet and judges handing out compliments after the competition. The Huron Girls competitive Cheer team had their first Huron League Jamboree at Flat Rock on 1/10. They scored their season high scores for round 1 and round 2 and finished 6th in the tough league competition.  Round 1: 204.8 Round 2: `187,06 Round 3: 270.0 TOTAL: 661.86

The Chiefs of Huron took 3rd in a tough division 2 home opener at Huron on 12/21.The Chiefs Christmas Classic is one of our favorite competitions on the season, and the talent and excitement was in full force.
