Placing 1st was Wyatt Marentette, 2nd was Carson Gemmel, Jason Downs, Jordan Matsos, Josh Graybeal, and Joshua Buettner, and Eric Radulescu, Landon Julio and Drew Ladach placed 3rd. They will travel to Warren Woods Tower next weekend for Individual Regionals. Great Job Chiefs!

The Chiefs finished the Huron League Tournament in 2nd place overall. They were led by champs in Eric Radulescu, Wyatt Marentette, and Josh Buettner. They also got runner up finishes from Josh Graybeal, and Drew Ladach, Steven Polocoser, and Austin Bentley finished 3rd and Jordan Matsos finished 4th.

The Chiefs won the Alex Mackmin Memorial Team Tournament hosted by Chippewa Valley HS. The Chiefs defeated Annapolis 70-12. Lamphere 66-12, Romeo 63-16, Chippewa Valley 48-31, and Brother Rice in the finals 40-28. Going undefeated on the day was Jason Downs, Landon Julio, and Wyatt Marentette.

The Chiefs placed 2nd at the Dave Elliot Memorial at Clinton HS! Finishing undefeating and winning the tournament was Wyatt Marentette and Joshua Buettner. The Chiefs also had runner up finishes from Daniel Hubbard, Drew Ladach and Carson Gemmel. In third was Eric Radulescu and Jason Downs. Finishing 6th on the day was Joshua Hubbard, Brandon Mackens, and Landon Julio.

Coming into the dual shorthanded with injuries and illnesses they dropped their dual against Lincoln Park 33-41 and then defeated Trenton 45-27. Going 2-0 was Carson Gemmel, Jason Downs, Eric Radulescu, Daniel Hubbard, and Joshua Buettner.

The Varsity Wrestling team place 5th at the 2022 Dave Melton Memorial finishing 3-2 on the day. Opening the day with a 78-6 win over Wayne Memorial they went on to defeat Romulus 78-6, and Melvindale 55-15. They dropped close duals to the eventual champ, Allen Park 36-39 and Belleville 33-45. Going undefeated on the day was Eric Radulescu, Jason Downs, and Landon Julio. Downs, only a freshman, knocked off the #7 ranked wrestler in the state from Allen Park 8-2. Finishing with one loss was Carson Gemmel, Drew Ladach, Daniel Hubbard, Wyatt Marentette, and Joshua Buettner.

The Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Dearborn High School to take on Dearborn High School and Dearbord Fordson. The Cheifs came away with two victories 51-21 over Dearborn and 54-28 over Dearborn Fordson. Going 2-0 on the night was Cami Krzciuk, Eric Radulescu, Drew Ladach, Daniel Hubbard, Wyatt Marentette and Joshua Buettner. Isaac Smith and Steven Polocoser came away with a victory each splitting time at 150lbs.
