UNBEATEN STREAK AT 75 ... CHIEFS WIN 8TH STRAIGHT LEAGUE TITLE....
The Huron boys reset their league high series with 2110 defeating crosstown rival Airport 27-3 . The win extends the unbeaten streak to 75 matches and this senior class is the winningest team ever posting a 59-0-1 record in 4 years. This is the 8th straight title and the 11th in 13 years of existence. Donnie Jacobs saved his best for his last match of his senior year posting a league best 290 -233 and a league best 523 series. The boys are rolling at the best time of the year as regionals are Friday. Nick Suemnick 230-228 , Logan Wyszynski 215-205 and Tyler Toth's 209 all bowled well.
We still have goals ahead of us to attain stay focused...

CHIEFS SET MHSAA RECORD IN WIN
Huron shot 300 & 248 in their baker set to set what is believed an MHSAA record. The highest score that could be verified was 546. The line up of Tyler Toth , Zach McCormick , Logan Wyszynski , Nick Suemnick and Donnie Jacobs threw 12 strikes for the 300 in game one they followed that up with a great 248 in game 2. The Chiefs set legue high in game 1125 and series 2063 with their excellent bowling. Leading the way Jacobs 258-225 , Suemnick 258-216 , Wyszynski 235 , Toth 206 and 1st time varsity bowler sophomore Avery Ealey 201. The win locked up the 8th straight league title and 11th in 13 years.

HURON CLINCHES 8TH STRAIGHT LEAGUE TITLE...
The Chiefs were all business in their 25-5 win against crosstown rival Flat Rock. Donnie Jacobs 217-196 , Logan Wyszynski 223 and Nick Suemnick 222 led the Chiefs in scoring while Zach McCormick won a match point.

HUNTER BRUCK CONTRIBUTES IN BIG WIN
The boys extended their league unbeaten streak to 72 games with their 28-2 win over the Jets. The win all but locks up 8th straight Huron League title in 13 years . 1st time varsity bowler shook off the nerves and contributed in the win.

Huron battled all day in qualifying 2nd in a field of 32. In the quarterfinals they defeated Grand Rapids Western in a close match. In the semifinal match they pulled away form Novi in the end. In the finals they bowled #1 see and #1 team in the state Flint Kearsley by 98 pins and the match was never close. This was a team win as EVERYONE contributed in the win.

UNBEATEN STREAK PUSHED TO THE LIMIT AGAINST MILAN ...
The Big Reds gave the Chiefs all they could handle jumping out to a 10-0 lead by winning both baker games. Huron on the verge os seeing their 63 match unbeaten streak end rebounded to beat Milan by taken 16 of the last 20 match points to secure win and send the unbeaten streak to 64 matches. Behind Nick Suemnick's 246 , Logan Wyszynski's 232 and Donald Jacobs 202 Huron defeated Milan 996-847 and won 3 match points to pull to 13-7. Game two was much of the same with Jacobs 223 and Tyler Toth's 213 game they defeated Milan 1005-851 to win 16-14.

Huron bowled well to lead the tournament for most of the day but spare shooting was not up to par and the Chiefs qualified 2nd> Huron defeated Livonia Churchill 196-142 , 181-190 231-176 to advance to the round of 4 .Spare shooting let us down as we dropped 2 games to eventual champion and # 5 ranked team in division 1 to finish in 4th place.
