Boys Varsity Golf vs. Multiple Opponents

This afternoon, the Huron Boys Varsity Golf team competed in the Huron League Championships at Sandy Creek G.C. Coming into the event, the boys had a 14-0 record in the Huron League which was combined with the first Jamboree and 7 dual matches throughout the season. After a lot of spectacular play, the team capped off a perfect season of 21-0 beating the other 7 Huron League teams!
First Team All-League honors went to Marco Tylutki with a score of 78, Nicholas Kosiba with a score of 77 and the first overall player of the entire tournament was Tyler Toth with a score of 72! Congratulations to the entire team for a absolutely great year!
Next the team will play in Regionals on May 30th at Lakes of Taylor G.C.

This afternoon, the Huron Boys Varsity Golf team competed in the Huron League Championships at Sandy Creek G.C. On Saturday, the Huron Boys Varsity Golf team headed to Grand Rapids to compete in the RAM Invitational at the Cedar Chase Golf Club. After a slow start along with battling the wind and tight lies of the course, the guys managed to finish in the middle of the pack of 19 teams. Low round was scored by Nicholas Kosiba with a 79 and earned him a spot on the All-Tournament team. Great job, guys!
Next, the team will compete in the OLSM/Grand Blanc Invite at Spring Meadows Country Club in Linden on Monday, May 22nd.
Boys Varsity Golf vs. Grosse Ile High School

This afternoon, the Boys Varsity Golf team was at Willow Metro G.C. to compete against Grosse Ile. Again, after a hard fought match which came down to the 9th hole...the guys came away with the win with a score of 171-173! The top scores came from Tyler Toth, Marco Tylutki, Nicholas Kosiba, and Gavin Grima. Great job, guys!
Next, the team will travel to Rockford, MI. to compete in the Ram Invitational at Cedar Chase G.C. on Saturday, May 20th.
Boys Varsity Golf vs. Riverview Community High School

Today, the Boys Varsity golf team was back in action, this time it was against Riverview at Riverview Highlands G.C. After a hard fought back and forth match, the guys came away with the win with a score of 161-163. Low round honors go to Marco Tylutki(39), Tyler Toth(39), and Nicholas Kosiba(38). Great shooting today boys!
Next, the team will take on Grosse Ile at Willow Metro G.C. on Wednesday, the 16th.

Today, the boys varsity golf team traveled to Monroe to compete in the Monroe County Championships at the Carrington G.C. With a field of 11 teams, the boys came in Runner-up with a team score of 322. Second All-Tournament honors went to Tyler Toth(79) and Nicholas Kosiba(81). And, First All-Tournament honors went to Marco Tylutki(75). Congratulations, guys!
The team will compete against Riverview at Riverview Highlands on Tuesday, May 16th.

On Saturday, the Varsity golf team headed to Battle Creek to compete in the Bedford Valley Open. After 18 tough holes the team finished in the middle of the pack of 20 teams. The low score for the team was Nicholas Kosiba with a 76.
Next, the team will compete in the Monroe County Championships at Carrington G.C. on May 15th.

Today, the boys varsity golf team traveled to Lake Erie Metro Golf course to compete in the Marauder Invitational hosted by Carlson High School. The tournament had a field of 16 teams and with a great day weather-wise the boys shot a team score of 316 and captured 2nd place in the tournament. Tyler Toth(79), Cameron Grant(78), and Nicholas Kosiba(75) made the top 10 all-tournament team. Congratulations, guys!
Next, the team will get back at tomorrow in Bedford Valley Open in Battle Creek.
Boys Varsity Golf vs. Milan High School

The boys were back at it today against Milan at Willow Metro. After a close match, the guys came out on top with a team score 173 to Milan's 189. Top golfers were Cameron Grant(43), Gavin Grima(43), Jack Miller(43), and Marco Tylutki(44).
The team will be back in action this Friday at the Marauder Invitational at Lake Erie Metro G.C.

Today the Boys Varsity golf team was back in action against their league rival Flat Rock at Willow Metro. From the first hole, the guys were on the attack. After 9 holes, the boys were victorious with top scores coming from Marco Tylutki(34), Nicholas Kosiba(36), Cameron Grant(38), and Tyler Toth(41) for a team total of 149 to Flat Rock's 186.
Next, the team goes up against Milan at Willow this Wednesday.

This past Saturday, the Huron Varsity Golf team headed to Big Rapids to play in the Katke Invitational at Ferris State University. After a slow start, the team found their rhythm and came in 3rd out of a 10 team field. The team had a score of 354 and saw Nicholas Kosiba come in 2nd overall in Individual play with a score of 79 and make the All-Tournament team.
Next, the team will take on Flat Rock at Willow Metro on Monday, May 8th.

This past Wednesday, the Varsity golf team traveled to the Monroe Country club for a match with SMCC. After battling the elements, Huron came away with the win with a score of 169 - 186. The win was supported by the low score of Nicholas Kosiba with a 37 and newcomer Luke Coll with a 44.
The team will head to Big Rapids this weekend to play in the Katke Invitational at Ferris State University.

The Huron boys varsity golf team hosted Monroe Jefferson yesterday at Willow. Huron came away with the win, which was a result of the play of Junior Tony Trupiano and Sophomore Marcus Balazs. Both golfers shot a 47 for the round.
Next, the team will take on SMCC at the Monroe Country Club this Wednesday.

Today, the Huron golf team headed to Riverview Highlands to compete in the Wyandotte Roosevelt Invitational Scramble. While battling the weather elements, the team came in 6th place overall in a 28 team field and was the highest seated Huron League team with a score of 61, which had them at -11 under par.

On Tuesday, 4/25, the golf team was back in action against Airport High School at Willow Metro Golf course. The team came away with the win with a team score of 170 to Airport's 185. The team was lead by Nick Kosiba with a score of 36 and Cameron Grant with a score of 42.
The team will compete in the Wyandotte Invitational Scramble this Friday, 4/28.

On Saturday, 4/22, the team competed in the second day of the Nightmare & The Dream Invitational in West Branch, Mi. The team was victorious in winning the invitational, which saw them best 17 Northern Michigan teams. The team score was 339 with Nick Kosiba, Tyler Toth, and Marco Tylutki making the All-Tournament Team.

On Friday, 4/21, the team traveled up north to West Branch to compete in the Nightmare & The Dream Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The team was victorious in winning the invitational, which saw them best 17 Northern Michigan teams. The team score was 339 with Nick Kosiba, Tyler Toth, and Marco Tylutki making the All-Tournament Team.

Last week, the Boys Varsity Golf team captured the Huron League Jamboree beating out 7 other teams with a team score of 315. The team was led by Marco Tylutki with a score of 75 and Nick Kosiba with a score of 77.
The team will travel north for the Nightmare/Dream Invitational in West Branch, Mi.

On Thursday, 4/20, the team headed to Battle Creek, Mi. to compete in the Hillsdale Academy Invitational at Bedford Valley Golf course. The team came in 7th place out of 16 teams and the team was lead by Jack Miller with a score of 90 and Tony Trupiano with a score 92 for the day.
