PITCHING DOMINATES IN HURONS 11-0 WIN....

Rickey Emelian took the mound for the Chiefs and threw a 2 hit shut out in the win. Emelian took a no hitter into the 4th and finished the game allowing only 2 hits while striking out 12. The Chiefs started the scoring in the bottom of the 1st when Shane Campbell started the game off with an infield hit to second , with 1 out Chase Molnar walked and Emelian helped his cause out with a 2 run single to put the Chiefs ahead 2-0.  After a scoreless 2nd the young Chiefs were at it again. Frankie Marvaso walked Campbell singled to center. Brendan Pasut had a 10 pitch battle before grounding out to second for an RBI. Emelian drove in Campell for his 3rd RBI of the game to put the Chiefs up 4-0 after 3. Huron tacked on 1 more in the 5th with an RBI from mason Ziegler. Huron broke the game open with 6 run 6th Dion Bentley drove the final 2 runs with a blast to deep left for a double. The Chiefs improved to 6-1-2 on the season.
