SLOPPY PLAY COSTS CHIEFS 1ST LOSS....
Bobby Curley started an pitched well but the D let him down. Curley gave up 5 runs ( 2 earned ) , 2 K's and 1 walk . Tyus Poletti pitched the final 3 innings and gave up 1 run ( unearned) 5 K's 2 walks. The Chiefs had numerous chances to tie the game and go ahead but could not get the big hit with runners in scoring position. Frankie Marvaso (2) , Mason Ziegler, (1) , Curley (1) and Austin Jordan (1) had RBI's in the loss.
