The Renton Jr High Girls Track Team are the 2019 Jefferson Invitational/Huron Middle School League Champions! The ladies took first place with 161.5 points in a showdown with Seitz, edging them out by fifteen points, bringing home 7 individual 1st place medals, 9 individual ribbons, two relays with first place medals and two relays receiving ribbons. The 1600M relay (Murphy, Barbour, Dolencic, Mentzer) set a new school record with a time of 4:33.01 sliding in under the previous record by .23 seconds.
The Renton Jr High Boys Track Team, climbing in their league standings, finished 3rd out of eight teams overall at the invitational with a score of 83 points. The team brought home 2 individual 1st place medals, 9 individual ribbons and two relays earned ribbons.
