The Renton Jr High Girls track team with a strong showing in field events got off to a great start and continued to add to that lead by finishing first in 8 running events, beating the Bears 86 to 43.
The Renton boys track team fell to Jefferson with a score of 37-91. The boys had two relays and three individuals place first. Xander Scannell, running the 200M hurdles for the first time, goes down in the record book as tied for the second fastest time in school history.
