SE Michigan Showcase 5/11/18

The Renton Jr High Boys Track team with a score of 1074 points finished in 3^rd place out of 22 teams in the Showcase, behind Hartland and Saline-both division one schools. Their top 5 finish earned the team a plaque. The boys also brought home 7 individual medals and 3 relays medaled.

The Renton girls team finished in 4^th place out of 23 teams with 1089 points, behind Hartland, Woodhaven, and Saline-all division one schools, earning a plaque as well. The girls brought home 9 individual medals, including Elizabeth Anderson’s first-place finish in the 200M dash and 2 relays medaled. At the Showcase, the ladies also broke two more school records: Hannah Segrist(12:32.55) in the 3200M run and Natalie Marek(1:05.35) in the 400M dash.

Collectively as a school Renton Track placed 3^rd out of 23 schools with a combined team score of  2163 points.
